handmade for bebe started in September 2021 when I was told I was going to be a grandmother.

This news was the best news after the hardships we all had to endure during the Covid lockdowns and restrictions. After the initial celebrations and excitement for what was to come, I immediately thought this is the time I can finally do my bit to not only make beautiful things for my future grandchild(ren) but also contribute to making the world a better place for our young ones. My kits all include mostly natural fibres and I encourage recycling and upcycling as much as possible.

My goal is to provide patterns and ideas for other grandparents and whoever loves to sew or knit to provide their little ones with unique, handmade gifts that are not only beautiful but also help make the world nicer and healthier again.
